PHOTOGRAPHY VIDEOS

THE STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE | TSKALTUBO

One of the highlights on both of my visits to Georgia this year, Tskaltubo, a small town a short distance from Kutaisi a city in the West of the Country.

During the Soviet times the Georgian town was a popular health destination famed for its therapeutic water and sanatoriums. Four trains arrived daily full of guests from Moscow in Russia. When the Soviet Union collapsed in the early 1990’s, the buildings were abandoned and fell into decay.

STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE | BURG ELTZ CASTLE

Eltz Castle (German: Burg Eltz Schloss) is a medieval castle nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany. It is still owned by a branch of the same family (the Eltz family) that lived there in the 12th century, 33 generations ago.

TRIPODS, TRIPODS & MORE TRIPODS

This time I discuss, all aspects of Tripods, Tripods and more TRIPODS. From the small and lightweight travel companions through to full size tripods.

After being asked loads of questions relating to my "L" bracket, geared head and tripods during talks and such like at camera clubs, university’s and such like - I thought what better way than to produce this, my video all about those three legged things we love so dearly.

STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE | THE FIVE SISTERS (Architecture Photography)

On location in the United Kingdom shooting The Willington Power Station Cooling Towers that are off of Twyford Road on the outskirts of the village Willington in the county of Derbyshire, England. I visited two times to create this video - under trying circumstances.

OTHER STUFF

11 TIPS FOR SHOOTING ABANDONED BUILDINGS

Teaming up with The Cooph was a plan that started out in July 2017 after they conducted a feature of my work on their website. I got speaking to them over the course of many months and decided to embark on producing a short video for giving tips and tricks when shooting abandoned buildings.

MAGICAL ICELAND

In June 2017, I did exactly that and during our 9 days over in magical Iceland Ollie Gough from Ooze Photography produced a video of exceptional quality using a combination of gear, he also included some short clips produced by Alex Zach as well as plenty of my stills from two trips.

TRANSITION

I decided to pull together some video clips that I have shot through 2017 and in early 2018 which resulted in this little video, which is a look at a series of abandoned building shoots.

Entitled "Transition" this had a duel meaning.
