A somewhat hidden room of a disused palace in Northern Italy, shot late in 2016 but edited in the middle of 2017. Edited into an autumnal scene.
Under the rotunda
A derelict and empty former palace in Portugal which is a stunner inside and out.
The Fountain (Herculaneum)
The Neptun spa has a chance, a group called the Herculane Project, based in Romania are attempting to save it - giving the stunning building hope.
They plan to Restore and undertake conservation, which has actually already started - the first stage of which is to close it from the elements.
A three shot vertical panoramic looking out of a derelict villa in Italy towards what looks, or reminds me of the plains of Africa.
A Splash of Red
A greenhouse that sits disused on the side of a large castle in France.
Bathing in Colour
There are two bath houses attached to a central pavilion here inside this amazing former baths in Eastern Europe.
Wanting the colour to shine through in the final edit, the baths didn't dissapoint.
A superb central skylight designed to naturally light this large, but barely visable staircase. I loved all the windows and the details here, the ceiling was also something special inside this palace.
I opted for a black & white image of these entrance stairs that were shot at a former art gallery in London this year.
The Winter Blues
A piano lays in a very derelict, and now collapsing Polish Palace.
The Coachbuilt Pram
Residing in a small French town lies this larger than life chateau, there was not a lot to photograph, but the main aim here was to shoot these beautiful stairs with the pram tucked beside them.
This is a rare example and one of a kind, a surviving early 20th century grade 2 listed building.
Derelict for over 20 years, this is the stunning ballroom of a former UK social club.
The difficult 3 shot vertical panoramic, in theory it was a breeze, in reality it was a nightmare edit.
A small but beautiful ballroom hidden in Germany.
The main feature and a central hall of a grand abandoned mansion in France.
The skeleton remains of a former mansion in Portugal.
To date this is the worst structure that I have ever stood inside, a real death trap and a morning that I will never forget.
My latest image, and a beauty from the depths of Europe, a disused synagogue in Eastern Europe.
Decided on a non-traditional 5x4 medium format style crop for this 3 shot panoramic - thus to show off more of the floor and ceiling.
A beautiful staircase that sits forgotten that once was the key feature inside this now, very stripped villa in Europe.
